Here at Penobscot Christian School, we have four core values that we teach our students. They are hung on our classroom walls and in our hallways; they are memorized by our preschoolers. These values represent our thoughts and beliefs about who we are as students, as a staff, and as a school.
I AM A CHILD OF GOD. I’M VERY VALUABLE BECAUSE GOD MADE ME.
I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH. GOD HAS MADE ME ABLE TO DO EVERYTHING I HAVE TO DO.
I OUGHT TO DO MY JOB BECAUSE THEN I WILL BE OBEYING GOD, MY PARENTS, AND EVERYONE IN AUTHORITY OVER ME.
I WILL RESOLVE TO KEEP WATCH OVER MY THOUGHTS AND TONGUE, AND CHOOSE WHAT’S RIGHT- EVEN IF IT’S NOT WHAT I WANT.
Knowing who you are and what you can do changes how you behave and where your strength comes from.
Here at Penobscot Christian School, we pursue truth, virtue, and beauty with Christ at the center.
